Volunteering at Growing in Harmony

Coatham House resident, Bailey, volunteers at the Growing in Harmony site in Kirkleatham once a week.

He helps to maintain the site and grow different foods that are given away or sold to the community. Volunteering has been great for his mental health and has helped him build his confidence over the two years that he's been doing it.

Bailey says "It feels great to give back to the community in a meaningful way. Volunteering with Growing in Harmony has also been a brilliant learning experience when it comes to growing, storing and even cooking food".
