Support
We can house/support you until you have demonstrated that you are able to live independently. Your tenant support worker will see you at your property on a regular basis, at least weekly, at the start of the service we expect to see you two or three times a week.
The support worker will ask you what goals you want to achieve whilst being housed and supported by Coatham. We will develop an action plan that will assist you in achieving those goals. This will form the basis for the support that we provide to you, it is your goals, your action/support plan and it is expected that you will be committed to working with us to achieve them.
Once you feel able to live independently we will help you to find accommodation that is suitable and affordable for your needs. If you don't require this level of support Coatham House may not be the right place for you.

Moving On
When you move on to your own accommodation we will provide a period of ‘resettlement’ for three months to help with the transition of moving from supported accommodation to independence. It can be a daunting experience but our tenant support workers help with organising utilities, acquiring furniture, understanding your new tenancy agreement, your rights and responsibilities, claiming relevant benefits, ensuring you are settled in your new home successfully.
After three months if you have any further issues you can call in the office and we’ll be happy to help in any way we can.
